Jesse Graves is a Milwaukee based interdisciplinary artist and art educator hailing from Cross Plains Wisconsin. Much of his work address environmental and material issues. Graves is nationally and internationally recognized for his mud stencils, a form of environmental street art he has spread across numerous cities. Graves has also used mud stencils to collaborate with activists in tactical media campaigns. For his Metalsmithing work, Graves has been published in Art Jewelry magazine, exhibited work at the MAM Lakefront Festival of the Arts and has been awarded multiple scholarships. Graves currently teachers elementary art at a public school.
